Yvonne Wolking was born in Darmstadt.

In 1993, she began her apprenticeship in equine studies at the Dieter Hofmann Foundation in Pfungstadt.

In 1995, she together with Dietmar Gugler began working for Paul Schockemöhle's stable, where in 1999 she qualified as an office manager.

At the end of 1999, she became a certified foreign language correspondent for English.

In July 2014, after working for 19 years for Paul Schockemöhle Pferdehaltung, she joined Gugler Sport Horses in Pfungstadt.
